Obituary

Frank Zimmerman passed away on August 31, 2015 in Glenview IL, at the age of 69. He is survived by his wife Iris, children Aaron (Lana) and Laura (Michael) Moran, granddaughters Audrey and Scarlett, siblings David (Jeanne) Zimmerman and Alyne “Cookie” (Bert) Polikoff. He was preceded in death by his parents Ben and Bertha Zimmerman. He graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in accounting. He went on to complete law school at John Marshall. Frank worked as a CPA, then as a lawyer, and later as a business owner. Frank devoted his life to his business and would go out of his way for his customers. He was a beloved father, grandfather, husband, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He loved the people in his life with all his heart and would do anything for them. Chapel service Thursday, 2:30 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Midwest Palliative and Hospice CareCenter or Alzheimer’s Association.
